You can call any broker and they’ll tell you the same thing; they will sell you their business and why you should choose them, and 99% of the time you’ll get the same reasons. It isn’t until your first few shipments have cleared that you truly decide if it is or it isn’t a good fit. Chances are if you’re a small business using a big broker, it may not work as well as you would like. You may not get the personalized service that works best for you.
So why are we different? Well, at Davidson & Sons we pride ourselves on being a family owned and operated company. It’s the thing that has kept us going for almost 100 years and it’s what sets us apart from the ‘big guys’. Our success is built on the personalized service that we provide to each of our clients.
We love helping small businesses get started and there’s nothing (within reason) that we can’t and won’t clear. The words ‘we can’t do that’ are rarely spoken in this office. We will not turn you away, we almost never say no and we absolutely will not back down from a challenge. We understand that without a flawless working relationship with your customs broker, your company may not succeed and we are here to make sure that it does.
No business is too small for us. Few commodities are too obscure. We thrive on helping companies to be the ‘first ones in Canada’ to import a product. If you’ve called those other brokers and had them tell you that your business isn’t big enough or that you need X number of shipments a year to sign a power of attorney with them, then call us.
